We are getting closer and closer to Christmas and if your kids are anything like mine they are hyper and loud because of all the excitement. Last weekend we took the little ones to see Santa. Ciara was pleased to see the jolly old elf. She sat on his lap and smiled for the camera. When it was all over she said, ” I want to do it again.” Conan on the other hand was a common “Mamma’s boy.” When he was placed on Santa’s knee all he could think about was mommy standing to the side. He screamed, “Mommy! Mama! Mama!” die ganze Zeit. You can see the tears streaming down his face in the photo. poor little guy. maybe he won’t be as frightened next year.

My oldest is on her Christmas break best now. She’s eleven years old and still believes. So maybe Santa will bring her something good this year. It’s a lot of fun keeping the spirit of Christmas alive. I think I found out who Santa really was when I was in fifth grade. I learned from some kids at school. I’m happy that nobody spoiled it for her as of yet.

This week has come and gone like so numerous others. now it is time to get ready for the big holiday. I am starting a new tradition this year now that I am away from home. Every Christmas Eve my family gets together at my uncles house. My aunt always has a big Italian dinner and the kids exchange gifts. So this year I am going to make home made ravioli. I’ve had my families recipe for a while but just haven’t tried it yet. I’m not working so I thought this would be a great opportunity for me to try the recipe. I’m going to have Courtney help me. I’ll let you know how it turns out.

In case you are wondering what happened to Day Eight. I’m thinking about scrapping the rest of the blog party because nobody is participating. thankfully I didn’t spend a whole lot of money on the giveaways. That’s probably why nobody is participating. With all of the boggy giveaways going on I’m sure you can find something much more expensive and nicer than anything I can afford to giveaway. Oh, well it was worth a try anyway. I don’t think this blog is cut out for giveaways. and I have a long list of other much more interesting blog messages so stay tuned! until next time, have a very Merry Christmas!
